Major Lazer ‘Hold The Line’ (via A3MusicVideos) is nominated for a breakthrough video award on one of those MTV award shows. I love the animation that recalls GI Joe and He-Man.
so apparently Butterscotch is well known for having appeared on America’s Got Talent and performing at Coachella in 2007 (that’s where this video is from) - but I just heard of her this morning thanks to @chrisbrogan putting a track from the Henry Rollins show in his twitter stream that featured Mike Patton and Butterscotch.

Low-Rise is a precarious assemblage of thousands of free-standing stacks of staples densely tessellated to create a city-like mosaic. Like a city, the staples are subject to the elements, on a micro scale. The slightest breath or vibration and the domino effect kicks in.

1967Part proton pack, part camera, part back injury. The VR-3000 was the first ever “portable” VHS camcorder. Holy shit and now we have phones that can do this and fit in our wee little pockets. It’s ridiculous how far technology has come. Ridiculous, I say.
